NPA Academy

Does your child dream of becoming a professional performer? Do they love being on stage and are looking to take their skills to the next level?

NPA Academy in Sheffield is the ideal way to nurture your child’s talent and give them a thorough training in performance arts and musical theatre. Designed to run in parallel to Noodle’s more informal performing arts classes, these sessions aim to challenge the children taking part and offer them in-depth tuition in theatre dance, singing and drama.

NPA AcademyNPA Academy takes the very best elements of a traditional theatre school but offers an alternative which is fresh, exciting and affordable to young people in South Yorkshire. The weekly two hour sessions are suitable for children in Y3 (age seven to eight) right up to the age of 18 and cost just £10 each.

Pupils will spend one hour learning theatre dance and one hour working on singing and drama. As well as working on scripts, choreographed routines and musical numbers, the classes will work on developing improvisation skills.

Our first NPA Academy class will start in January at Beighton Lifestyle Centre in Sheffield. The session will run

from 4.30pm to 6.30pm on Fridays during term time.

Each term, students will be given topics to focus on and there will be regular opportunities to perform.NPA Acadmy 3

Why choose NPA Academy?

  • Expert teachers

All our NPA Academy teachers are fully insured and qualified and have extensive professional performance experience. Our staff are DBS-checked and are used to working with children.

  • Competitive prices

At £10 a week, NPA Academy classes are more affordable than many rival theatre schools.

However, our lower rates do not reflect on the quality of our teaching, we simply want to make in-depth performance arts training accessible to more children and their families.

  • Vital life skills

Performance arts training helps your child build their confidence and self-esteem and develops their social NPA Academyand communication skills as well as their physical fitness and co-ordination. In addition to learning to sing, dance and act, your son or daughter will become better at speaking in public, working as a team, interpreting written texts and making new friends. The benefits of learning performing arts really are endless and our classes help children in all areas of their development and education.

  • Shorter sessions

Our two-hour classes are the perfect length to teach a comprehensive range of theatre skills without leaving children feeling fed up and exhausted. We believe we have found the perfect balance between providing in-depth performing arts training and keeping the children motivated, energised and engaged.
