Tickets are now on sale for our Noodle show – Little Red Riding Hood.
Featuring our younger performers aged between three and six, the show will take place on the weekend of March 5 and 6 next year. It may seem a long way away but seats are booking up fast for the performances which start at 2pm at Springs Academy, in Hurlfield Road, Sheffield.
Children attending our classes have already started learning pieces for the show, which features a range of fairytale characters as well as Red Riding Hood herself. Auditions have taken place for the main parts, which include Red’s sister Blue Riding Hood, the Fairy Godmother, Goldilocks, the three little pigs and, of course, the Big Bad Wolf himself.
This is the first time Noodle Performance Arts will be holding two main shows. Little Red Riding Hood will include Noodle’s younger performers, while older children will take part in Alice in Wonderland on May 14 and 15.
Nikki Johnson, Noodle’s managing director, said: “We’re really excited to be getting started on Little Red Riding Hood. The children just love learning their lines, songs and dances and we’re always amazed at how well they do at such a young age.
“By giving the younger children their own show, we’re giving them the chance to show everyone what they can do. We know just how amazing all our little Noodlers are so we’re looking forward to seeing them shine on stage.”
She added: “Our shows are always really popular with parents, family and friends so I’d urge anyone who knows they want to watch the show to get their tickets sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.”
Last year’s show Peter Pan starred 175 children aged between three and 11 and all three performances at Springs Academy were a sell-out.
Tickets for Little Red Riding Hood are £8.50 each and are available at http://severnnoodle.wpengine.com/book-a-noodle-event/ Children under the age of two do not need a ticket and can sit on an adult’s knee.
