Hadestown: Teen Edition (March 2026)
In March 2026, NPA Theatreworks brought the critically acclaimed Hadestown: Teen Edition to the stage in Sheffield. This powerful retelling of the ancient Greek myths of Orpheus and Eurydice, Hades and Persephone showcased the incredible talent, dedication and maturity of our young performers. With stunning vocals, dynamic choreography and atmospheric staging, the production transported audiences to the world of the Underworld and earned fantastic feedback from theatre-goers throughout its four-performance run. It remains one of our most ambitious and rewarding productions to date.
Elemental Awakening Ballet Recital April 2026
Elemental Awakening was a captivating ballet recital celebrating the power and beauty of the natural elements. Through a collection of imaginative dances inspired by Earth, Water, Air and Fire, our performers demonstrated exceptional creativity, technique and expression. From graceful lyrical pieces to energetic contemporary works, the production took audiences on a magical journey through the forces that shape our world. The recital showcased the hard work and progress of our dancers while highlighting the creativity and passion that make our ballet programme so special.
The Spongebob Musical (Youth Edition) July 2025
In July 2025, our senior students brought Bikini Bottom to life in The SpongeBob Musical: Youth Edition. Packed with colourful characters, high-energy musical numbers and plenty of laughs, the production followed SpongeBob and his friends as they worked together to save their home from a looming volcanic disaster. Featuring vibrant costumes, imaginative staging and outstanding performances from the cast, the show was a huge hit with audiences and perfectly captured the fun, positivity and teamwork at the heart of this much-loved musical.
