Meet The Team
Nikki Johnson
Managing Partner
Nikki Johnson brings more than 40 years of experience in the performing arts industry and holds an Associate Teaching Diploma in Performing Arts. Throughout her career, she has worked professionally as a singer, performing both as a solo artist and with bands, as well as gaining experience as a dancer and musician. She has also directed and produced more than 30 stage productions.
As a parent, Nikki recognised that opportunities for young people to participate in performing arts beyond the traditional part-time stage school model were limited. Inspired to create a more accessible, inclusive and flexible approach, she founded this South Yorkshire-based company to provide high-quality performing arts experiences for children and young people of all backgrounds and abilities.
Jess Fulton
Partner & Dance Director
Jess is Noodle’s Dance Director, teaching many of the company’s ballet classes and leading the choreography for a wide range of Noodle productions and performances.
She began her dance training at the age of seven and started teaching at just sixteen. An Associate Teacher with the IDTA, Jess specialises in ballet and is qualified to teach a variety of dance styles, including ballet, tap, modern jazz, musical theatre, disco and gymnastic dance. While she enjoys all aspects of dance, ballet remains her greatest passion.
Following three years of professional musical theatre training at Phil Winston’s Theatreworks, Jess graduated in 2010 and went on to enjoy a successful performing career. Her professional credits include Duo Entertainment’s pantomime Cinderella, performing alongside Bernie Nolan and Basil Brush, as well as appearances aboard P&O’s Aurora, the Thursford Christmas Spectacular, and Broadway in Blackburn for SoShow.biz.
Fliss Blincow
Office Manager
There is very little about Noodle that Fliss doesn’t know! Having been part of the Noodle family for more than fourteen years, she is at the heart of the organisation and plays a vital role in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
From managing class fees, customer enquiries and Children’s University returns to organising orders, creating props and designing, making and altering costumes, Fliss’s talents seem endless. She is also heavily involved in our productions, events and Noodle Parties, and is often the person who turns ideas into reality.
Noodle has become a true family affair, with Fliss’s family regularly lending a hand whenever needed. Her dedication, creativity and unwavering support have helped shape Noodle into what it is today, and quite simply, Noodle wouldn’t be Noodle without her.
We may drive her a little crazy from time to time, but she wouldn’t have it any other way—and we certainly wouldn’t know what to do without her!
